Synopsis :

In a world where people regularly jump between slightly different parallel worlds, Koyomi Takasaki struggles to make friends after his parents divorce. He is socially awkward and has trouble connecting with the people at his new school. One day he is suddenly approached by his classmate Kazune Takigawa, who tells him that she came from the 85th world where she and Koyomi are lovers.

Koyomi is skeptical at first, but Kazune is able to tell him details about their relationship that only those who know him well will know. As Koyomi begins to believe that Kazune is telling the truth, he begins to wonder if he is from another world himself.

After doing some research, Koyomi discovers that he has a counterpart in the 85th world. However, this Koyomi is a different person than him. He is more open and trusting and maintains a happy relationship with Kazune.

Koyomi must make a difficult decision. He can either stay in his own world and try to form a relationship with Kazune, or move to the 85th world and take his counterpart’s place.

In the end, Koyomi decides to stay in his world. He realizes that since meeting Kazune, he has grown and changed and is not the same person as he was in the 85th world. He also knows that he can never really replace his opponent and doesn’t want to take his luck away from him.

Koyomi and Kazune are still friends and even start dating. While they may never be together the way they were in the 85th world, they’re both content with the lives they’ve built together.
